Asteroid Belts are highly coveted points of interest in the galaxy where Miner Ships can extract valuable resources for players. However, they are also treacherous locations, ripe with opportunities for Pirates and other Commanders to exploit players' mining efforts.

As lawless zones, Asteroid Belts are hotspots of contention. The rare resources they harbor attract a constant influx of rival players seeking to claim them for themselves. As such, any claim players make to an Asteroid Belt is at best, temporary, and must be defended fiercely.

Without proper protection, Miner Ships venturing into Asteroid Belts are vulnerable to attack from hostile forces. It is essential to have gunships accompanying the Miner Ships to avoid being caught off-guard and risking severe losses.

Additionally, Asteroid Belts are the only source of Aether, a recently discovered and highly valuable material that offers immense nuclear force at the molecular level. Due to its rarity and extraordinary properties, Asteroid Belts containing Aether are among the most contested areas in the galaxy. As such, players must be especially cautious when attempting to mine Aether in these dangerous locations.
